AVCHD footage output
What is the best way to output avchd footage in a s4100 pro.

Create an AVCHD DVD or Blu-ray with the Arabesk software so you can play it back somewhere else.
Or use one of the various export methods provided by the Media Manager if you want to transfer the video to your PC...
Or use the export storyboard (mode HDV) option in the project settings menu...
Or output the finished video to tape (HDV).
There is no "best way" since it depends on what you intend to do with the exported files later.

I find the picture quality of my AVCHD videos burned on standard DVD's to be as good as when I burn them on Blu Rays, but they will play in far more Blu Ray players than the Blu Ray disks I burn - just FYI.
