Imovie to Bogart
Since I cannot load in files that have the audio sync up with the video from my Sony HXR-NX5U. It loads fine into the Apple. I would like to split it on the Apple and then transfer to the 4000. Can this be done?

Re: Imovie to Bogart
Through frustration with my now-and-then operating S4000, I have been using my MacBook Pro quite a bit dumping footage into iMovie. Very easy to handle though slower than the S4000. Once in the iMovie you can edit, add titles, music effects etc and even a "trailer" for your movie with several theme-storyboards to play with. Once finished, dump to a file or ,memory stick or burn to a DVD or external hard drive then transfer to your Casablanca. I have tried going direct from Apple to Casablanca with limited success. Apple made a major mistake in not providing any direct video out on the current models.....so far.
Good luck.

Re: Imovie to Bogart
There are two files that we have used in I-Movie. .m4v and .MOV The .MOV files are better than .M4v(720)................... Apples own codec.
However, I may stand corrected if there are other files I am not aware of in I-Movie.
