Grey Screen at boot-up

S-2000 3.6c
I'm still stuck on a grey screen after boot-up.
The line under Macrosystem goes across the display and seems to gets stuck with the final phase of the boot.

The display stops at MACRO(3 bars) SYSTEM (in Caps). My other machines go to Macrosystem (lowercase)

Holding the right mouse button does not work to change display options.

Have done a emergency flash drive opening and reinstalled 3.6 and also 4.1 over the top. - No luck.

(I do get a screen when installing a OS disk)

Is there anything in the BIOS that needs changed?

Do I need to go back to an early version of Bogart to install something that might be missing or corrupt?

I really don't want to do a new install and lose my project.

My S4000 Pro will not start properly if anything is plugged into the USB ports on the rear other than keyboard and mouse. Check to insure nothing else is plugged in such as firewire, thumb drive or anything other than basic standard items.
