Hi,
I have just started using my new S3000. I checked the manual but couldn't find any explaination on how to transfer audio (music) from one project to another. The only thing I played with was trying to do it with clipboard. Is there another way? Or am I missing the button/process to do it with clipboard? Thanks.

Re: Bogart 4.0 audio clipboard
Bonnie,
You transfer audio in Bogart with Clipboard the same way you would with Smart Edit.
You can archive stuff using Media Manager, but someone else would have to go into that as I have been away from the system for a couple of years and back then Media Manager was mostly non-functional and trying to use it was an invitation to all kinds of trouble.
Supposedly, it is more stable now.

My mom always told me that happiness was the key to life.
At school they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up.
I said “happy" and they told me I didn’t understand the question.
I told them they didn’t understand life.

Re: Bogart 4.0 audio clipboard
Hello Bonnie,
As suggested - you will find a Clipboard function just for Audio like we have for our video scenes. This is found under the 'Audio Record Edit' menu. Highlight your audio sample to move, then left click on the 'Special' button in that Audio menu and follow the options.
While I respect our colleagues opinions a great deal, I have to throw out that myself and some others in our community do use the Media Manager successfully. I personally do not think it's the great beast that some content it to be. It had lots of irregularities and issues in the earlier OS versions of Bogart but I personally find there are some valuable operations I use it for.
If you're reading this and have issues with MM, please don't mis-understand me...I am not saying your opinion or experience does not count. I believe some colleagues have had valid difficulties with the tools in the MM and have found other/better options for their work-flow. Just wanted to share that there are also folks in our community who do use MM for some operation.
That said...there remains opportunities for further development and improvement of the tools in the MM. And I appreciate how the developers appear to be moving towards moving the most helpful tools into the 'regular' editing interface; like the OPT button in the Edit Menu, etc. In a future incarnation I would love to see the ability to import an MP3 audio file directly into the Audio Edit menu - that would be sweet!
Regards,
Chet
