a heavy heart

Post by BobC »

Just to let all my friends and really ...family... here on the boards know, my life has taken some radical changes this year. I haven't been able to participate as much as i would like because of opening an office downtown and all the additional hours it has taken in getting it running smoothly.

Unfortunately, that has been the easy part. On Monday, my oldest brother took his own life. We had no clue it was coming. He moved back here at home with me and my Mom some time back, and his being here is a lot of what allowed me to finally move my office from the house. Now I am not sure where things will go in that regard, but for now, that isn't important.

Today is the memorial service for him and I would appreciate your prayers for me and my family. So many of you have been very close to me, whether we have actually met or just conversing via this site or email that I thought it important enough to include you in my struggles. I have a strong faith in Jesus Christ, and whether you share that faith or not, I covet your prayers and support. We will be okay because my God is compassionate in His grace to see us through even the darkest of times in our lives. May he bless you all.

Bob,

My heartfelt condolences in your time of grief.
My mom always told me that happiness was the key to life.
At school they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up.
I said “happy" and they told me I didn’t understand the question.
I told them they didn’t understand life.

Casablanca Unit: S2000 with all software. I also have a Prestige that I used on my film transfer station. I have B4W loaded on a laptop. I have a S4000 Pro that I am going to trade in for a discount on software for my B4W setup. I even have my first Cassie, the AVIO that I am going to hook up. Not sure what I will use it for but I want to see it run again.

Please accept my condolences as well. Our family went through the same experience a few years ago and the ones left behind are left to wonder why.

My prayers and sympathy. Two years ago we suffered through the same family tragedy without any answers. My two childrens faith actually helped them through the tough time. May GOD bless you and give you the strength at this trying time.

Thanks for all the encouraging words and prayers, both posted here and those who chose to contact me privately. We are all doing much better and are at peace. Many decisions to be made in the coming weeks, but we'll figure it all out in due time. God bless you all.
