For my High School tv show we record each scene and then create the storyboard for the finalized show.

is there a way to replace recorded video with imported video yet keep the original audio track?

There's a couple of ways. Easiest: Simply use "Insert" to replace the original video and retain the original audio. If you make a "scene" of the new version, it can be used anywhere in the storyboard as a "new" scene. Second, Make a scene/sample of the audio of the original video and place it under the new video in the audio editing section.

Along Bob's line of suggestion, if you make a Scene of the entire Storyboard that will make one Scene that you can replace the Storyboard with and then use Insert to Add the new Scenes you want without any problem from original transitions between Scenes.
