how to connect an external dvd burner

is it possible to connect an external dvd burner to a s4000, or s6000.

Have you tried? Without trying I'd say the system may recognize it through USB, but you probably couldn't use Arabesk with it. Only the many back up options of various video data files.

Hello folks,I use this one with no problems for regular DVD and BLUE RAY
of course you need BOGART 5.5c and ARABESK 6..

In Settings, System you have a check box to "prefer external burner" - this (for whatever reason) is normally ticked by default.

I believe it is Bogart v5 and above . . .

thanks to all, went to office max and bought an external dvd writer, connected with a usb and it worked.
