Generation Quality Loss ?
If I make an AV backup of a project and then use this backup to continue building the project and then do the same again etc, will I will be getting progressive generation quality losses?

Re: Generation Quality Loss ?
No. It is a lossless transfer each time or layer....

Re: Generation Quality Loss ?
Thanks Joel
That another query answered
I'm trying to work out why a recent project suddenly developed serious 'jaggies' and it's one where I had gone two generations of AV saves.
My current project with same equipment throughout but single generation is perfect.
Cheers

Re: Generation Quality Loss ?
If it is SD footage being viewed on an HD monitor, even the original SD footage would look awful. The HD monitor has to blow-up SD nearly 4 times to fill the screen.
