I want to transfer hi def tapes to the Travel Pro. I can go analogue but quality is lost. Are there cables or adaptors?

No... there is only the Analog->USB converter. All manufacturers of FireWire->USB hardware stopped production years ago.
While AVCHD, UHD and 4k is no problem for TravelPro, you will need to record old DV tapes on the S-4000, auto-split the scenes there and use AV-Data transfer to the TravelPro (standard from Bogart 6 and higher).
