I have never needed to copy from machine to machine, but I need to now. If anyone can post the procedure I will apreciate it.

Connect the two machines with a firewire cable while they are powered down, turn them on, put the one in the Finish menu, the other in the Record menu with Video set to DV, press the Play icon on the output machine, the Record icon on the input machine.
