MS DE Product Show in Europe/ News about upcoming software

On the MS DE Website I noticed the following post (translated from German language)

From November 14 - December 2, 2009 Macrosystem DE is hosting a series of events in Germany, Austria & Switzerland to share some of the latest and forthcoming software for the Casablanca (and the Enterprise Home Entertainment System).
The agenda includes:
Smart Edit 9 & Bogart 3 - software for 2nd & 3rd generation editors
Store 'n' Share - Editing with external hard drives for Casablanca
Caladan - Graphic & Print System for Bogart SE
Macro System 2010 - 20 years MacroSystem and so it goes ...
Also showing will be Photo Studio 3 and Columbus 3


When asked about a teaser or preview of what the new features might be in the new OS, here is the latest reply from Jörg Sprave:

Hold on a little longer guys. We are finalizing the feature list right now,
will be published soon.

I can give you a little "appetizer":
Real time audio, audio editing completely reworked and much more intuitive
now! Both SmartEdit AND BogartSE.

That all sounds good but how about all the software that does not work with Bogart or is "coming soon". That's what I'm REALLY interested in. We have been waiting WAY to long.

The other products will come, even CB Paint, which I long for, will make its way back into my S-4000 PRO unit.

Hi Lou,

My feeling is since MSDE is coming out of bankruptcy, you will see some positive surprises around the bend. CB Paint in my opinion is what separated this turnkey system from the competition and what made it special to use. I have been waiting 10 years for Jorg to say, MSDE is going to release a major makeover of its audio interface, which to me, is very limited and useless.

The audio has net kept up with all of the impressive video capabilities in the Casablanca line. For most I assume, the new audio features will be ho-hum. For me, I can't wait. I am gearing up a big movie I am now editing to use these audio features just for that purpose.

CB Paint will come to fruition, it is not written anywhere, but in my gut.
