Problem Loading Up Video Recorded @ 24 FPS

Post by Rte80west »

Hello

I have been having a tough time loading up footage recorded on the camera @ 24 frames per sec. Does anyone know if this is an issue? I am using the S4k w/ latest Bogart version. Thanks in advance for any ideas/input.

I do not have a camera that shoots 24P so my suggestion is hypothetical not practical... I would ask you to check to ensure you have select one of the progressive options in Project Settings?

Which camera?

Canon 24F

Sony 24 P

Some cameras are not true 24P. Different dropdowns.

Hi Lou.

Sorry for the delayed response, I've been traveling recently. OK, it is not true 24P. What does that mean? Is there anyway footage is salvageable?

Thanks for the feedback.

I should really be more direct. Even though it is touted as 24P, there is a different pulldown rate. Try this...bet it will work. Go into SETTINGS. SWAP the frames PRIOR to inputting. Let us know what happens.

Hi Lou

Just had a chance to try what you suggessted. Still no luck. Footage is still choppy. Thanks for the input though, it was worth a shot... not sure what else to try.
